Symptom

You have a report that works properly when run interactively using a browser. However, when you subscribe to this report it doesn’t work. When chekcing the Report Server log file, you can find the following error:

An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'ERSDE2008' that is not registered for this report server

Solution

Report Server subscription will execute through SQL Server Agent:

• Ensure that the SQL Server Agent service account has the permissions over the Report Server Bin folder (i.e.:C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin).
• Ensure that Enesys.ReportingServices.Ersde2008.dll inherits its permissions from the bin folder.
